Who we are

Homestead Revivalists is a full-service general contractor serving Boulder County, Colorado.

With over 25 years of experience in construction and renovation, Shane Stirt and his team bring a deep respect for craftsmanship and a passion for restoration to every project they take on.

As the founder of Homestead Revivalists, Shane specializes in reviving spaces with intention, whether it’s breathing new life into a century-old farmhouse or building a custom home from the ground up.

Homestead Revivalists’ approach is simple: do it right, do it honestly, and make it last. Our reputation has been built on hard-earned trust, clear communication, and a dedication to quality that you can see and feel in the final result.

Why Homestead Revivalists?

The name Homestead Revivalists speaks to Shane’s belief that a house is more than just walls and windows. It’s a place of legacy, rootedness, and renewal. Every home tells a story, and the character is our favorite part. Whether we’re remodeling a kitchen or overseeing a full-scale rebuild, we aim to honor that story with skill and soul.

Values

We exist to accomplish the seemingly inconceivable, approaching each project with pragmatism, care, and creativity. From heritage homes to contemporary remodels, we hold ourselves to a high standard: thoughtful design, honest work, and enduring quality.

We’ve made the deliberate choice to stay small-scale so we can offer hand-tailored, high-integrity remodeling experiences. Rather than subcontract projects to third parties, we stay close to the work — and even closer to the client. To us, building well is an act of service, not just a business.

About Our Founder, Shane Stirt

When he’s not on-site, you’ll find Shane on a bass guitar, dreaming up the next project, or fixing an old Toyota truck. He brings the same grounded presence to life as he does to his work: steady, thoughtful, and deeply human.

“The true measure of your character is what you do when nobody’s watching.”

— Charles Caleb Colton
